Redwood City is an incorporated city on the San Francisco Peninsula in the Northern California Bay Area. The city is found approximately 27 miles south of San Francisco and 24 miles northwest of San Jose. Privileged to be found in the heart of Silicon Valley, the technology-rich region which extends from the San Francisco Peninsula to the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, Redwood City is known to be the third largest city in the San Mateo County.
