Brisbane is a small incorporated city in California located in the northern part of San Mateo County, on the northern edge of South San Francisco and bordering San Francisco on the south. The city is well known as “The City of Stars,” the name was gotten from a holiday tradition that was established over 65 years ago. The area is known as a world class city in every aspect. According to the United States Census Bureau, Brisbane covers a total area of 20.1 square miles (52km2) of which 3.1 square mile (8.0km2) is land while 12.0 square miles (44km2) is covered by water. Brisbane offers some nice sites for sightseeing which include the San Bruno Mountain State Park, Bayshore Roundhouse, and Philosopher’s Way Trailhead. Food lovers are also offered a variety of restaurants to choose from such as Na Na’s Kitchen, Melissas Taqueria, and Saigon BBQ.
